OUR STORY
Founded in 1984 by Louise Gerber, Closets Etc. began with a personal challenge: organizing her mother’s collection of more than 200 pairs of shoes and matching handbags. At a time, the concept of professionally designed closets was virtually unheard of, and the storage industry was just beginning to emerge.
As lifestyles evolved, so did the company. What started with custom closets expanded into comprehensive, custom storage solutions—garages, pantries, linen closets, laundry rooms, home offices, and bespoke bookcases—each designed to elevate everyday living.
For over four decades, Closets Etc. has designed and built thousands of fully custom storage systems for residential and commercial spaces, earning a reputation for thoughtful design and quality craftsmanship.
In 2021, the company entered a new chapter under the leadership of Pierre-Axel Coulibeuf, an experienced furniture designer. Together with Julia, an interior designer, they bring a modern perspective that blends function, aesthetics, and personalized solutions tailored to each client’s lifestyle.
Rooted in experience and driven by innovation, Closets Etc. continues to redefine organization—creating elegant, functional spaces built to last.

At Closets Etc, our experienced designers use computerized programs to fine tune details and ensure a flawless design. Upon your approval, the fabrication process can begin.

Using state-of-the-art equipment and high quality materials, our experienced team gives life to the cabinetry prioritizing quality, durability and a beautiful end result.
